How did I know I wanted to get the Bjorn travel crib? Well, when I start to look to buy something I always like to do a bit of comparison shopping.  I thought it would be helpful to compare a few products and see what other travel cribs are on the market and how they compare.  I find comparing things gives me a clear idea that I have found something great and peace of mind when I buy it.  Of course, there are a variety of travel beds on the market for our little ones.  So, here are a few options in the way of travel cribs.

Bjorn Travel Crib

The Bjorn Travel Crib is a great crib to take with you on trips. It can be set up in record time, in one easy movement.  And the best part is it weighs only 11 lbs. (5 kgs.) and is light and easy to carry in its carrying case. Soft fabric makes it snug and cozy for your child. Both the mattress cover and the bed fabric can be machine-washed. The mattress cover and all fabric parts that come into contact with your child are non toxic materials. BabyBjorn has organic sheets that fit this crib or you can also use a jersey cotton port-crib sheet that is 24X38. Graco Pack 'n Play Play Yard Element

Another popular option is the graco pack n play bassinet.  It includes a removable, full-size bassinet. It also, comes with a carrying case that has a comfy quilted mattress pad for baby. It has a push-button fold making it easy to open and close. It offers a few extras like the mobile, bassinet and cubbies for supplies and a changer with a cushioned rim to make it comfy. The gracco pack n play bassinet weighs 28lbs and offers a bit more affordability. Gracco pack n play sheets are reasonably priced too.

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard w/ Bassinet - Kensly

The Pack ‘n Play playard is a convenient, comfortable place for your baby to nap and play, at home and away. It’s easy to set up just unfold, pull up the sides, and lock them into place. It has a push-button fold, so it will close it. Wheels let you roll it around and it weighs about 21lbs. It offers a full-size infant bassinet for naps.

There is something for everyone depending on your price point and needs. The graco pack ‘n play bassinet offers affordability.  I think the Bjorn travel crib is a bit more travel friendly because of the weight of it.
